Objective: SWBAT explain how a flashback scene is used to parallel and present scene from a play.

Do-Now: FREE WRITE (Write 5-7 sentences about anything you want)

Today: 1) Introduce "Death of a Salesman Project"

2) In groups read pp. 116-125.  What does this flashback scene reveal about Willy’s past?  How does this explain his current relationship with Biff?How is the Loman family beginning to fall apart?  What events have led up to this? 


Exit Slip: What do you think caused Willy to have an affair?  How might this have led to the destruction of the relationship between him and his son?  His wife?
