Objective: Students will be able to describe the witches’ new predictions for Macbeth in order to predict what Macbeth may do next.

Do-Now: Macbeth plans on returning to the witches in order to learn more about his future.  Based on what has happened as a result of the witches’ first prediction, do you believe this is a good idea?  What might the witches tell Macbeth?  How might knowing more about his future influence him?  What might this knowledge cause him to do?

Today: 1) Review Exit Slips from Monday

2) Class will watch the rest of Act 3

3) Class will read Act 4, Scene 1, filling out a chart with each of the apparition's descriptions and predictions.

Exit Slip: Make your own predictions based on each of the apparition's predictions.  Write these predictions in the last column on your worksheet.

Homework: "Macbeth" Test on Wednesday, January 22.  All make-up work due by January 31!!!
