ObjectiveStudents will be able to evaluate Mr. Lindner’s argument concerning the Youngers move to Clybourne Park to determine if it is valid.  Students will be able to evaluate an instance of situational irony in order to determine its effectiveness. 

Do-NowThe family is now preparing to move into their new house.  What may happen to ruin their plans?  Do you believe everything will work out well for everyone in the end?  Explain.

Today: 1) Finish reading Act 2, Scene 3 pp. 119-130.

2) Watch Act 2, Scene 3

Exit Slip: How is situational irony used toward the end of the scene?  Was this situational irony used effectively?  (Were you surprised by what happened?)  Explain why or why not.

Homework: Deleted Scene Due TOMORROW!!!  Test on "A Raisin in the Sun" on Wednesday, December 11!!!
