Objective: Students will be able to evaluate Mr. Lindner’s argument concerning the Youngers move to Clybourne Park to determine if it is valid.  Students will be able to evaluate an instance of situational irony in order to determine its effectiveness. 
 

Do-Now: Recall what you learned from the conversation with Ms. Johnson yesterday.  Do you believe it is safe for the Youngers to move to a white neighborhood?  Why or why not?  If you were the Youngers, would you move to Clybourne Park?  Explain.

Today: 1) Go over Exit Slips from Tuesday

2) Watch Act 2, Scene 2

3) Read Act 2, Scene 3 pp. 110-119

Exit Slip: Describe Mr. Lindner's main reason for the Youngers to stay out of Clybourne Park.  Do you believe this reason is valid?  (Is there any truth to it?)  Explain why or why not.

Homework: Deleted Scene - Due FRIDAY!!!  Test on "A Raisin in the Sun" on Wednesday, December 11!!!
