Objective: SWBAT evaluate the effectiveness of an adaptation of “Othello” in order to determine whether the adaptation reinforces the themes present in the original play.

Do-Now: Recall a movie you have seen which was based on a book.  What changes did you notice between the book and the movie?  Which did you enjoy more?  Explain.

Today: 1) Review exit slips from Tuesday.

2) Watch the ending of "Othello."

3) What to Review for Friday's Quiz: Exit Slips, Figurative Language Worksheet, Iago's "Evidence" Against Desdemona, Literary Terms (pun, catharsis, foreshadowing, monologue, soliloquy, allusion, dramatic irony)

4) Analysis Questions for "O."  How is "O" a modern version of "Othello?"

5) Class will begin watching "O."
